Weekend Dec. 13th & 14th

OK ladies and gents it's time to post up! Who's riding this weekends and where to?

I will be on the hill Saturday and am looking foreword to taking some turns with you cats. My initial though is Breck since my days at Vail are limited and it seems to have the most terrain open.

As for that night, I'll be at Vaildaze for some serious partying.

Hopefully this gets the ball rolling so let's hear your thoughts.

$1173 / 1br - Downtown Apartment for $250/month Less than Market Value

I purchased a condo and am looking for someone to take over my lease. I have a top floor 1 bedroom with a post-card view of the city, one of the best 1 bedroom apartments in the building. I also pay one of the best prices to live downtown.

Details:

  • My lease is until 27th July, 2009 - you may renew after that if you wish

  • My rate: $1173/month

  • Rate if you went through leasing office: $1430/month

  • I paid $400 in deposits, I'm asking for $200 plus the $40 for your application fee. You will get $300 back at the end of the lease.

  • If you choose to continue the lease after July, you will continue at a rate based on the $1173, not the $1430 - that's a huge win!

Ammenities:

  • Balcony

  • Theatre room

  • Best pool in downtown Denver

  • Business center

  • Fitness room

  • Conference room

Visit http://www.ballparklofts.com/home.html for info on the building.

If you are interested, please contact me directly. I will give you a tour and show my apartment anytime. The leasing office will not show my apartment but they will legally transfer the lease if you are interested.

Below are actual pictures of my apartment and the view both day and night.

Lets get some skiing done sometime eh?

Hi all,

I have a place up in Silverthorne that is more than accommodating if I happen to be there. I work far from the places I like to play, so when I'm around I play hard, when not...I guess I'm working hard or something. I'm an intermediate snowboarder, enough to know that I like skiing better. I have been skiing since I was a kid and will pretty much hit anything that the avi danger isn't too great on. Hitting up the backcountry - berthoud, loveland, jones (if anyone has a snowmobile and likes to hit up jones pass let me know, i have a ski rope for towing!) and of course Vail passes are tops in my books. I do love skiing inbounds on some good bumps although trees and powder are like crack cocaine for me! I can also ski groomers all day provided the BAC is right...hehe. I'll throw up posts when I back in town as any day with snow on the mountain is good day for me. Cheers and look forward to hitting the slopes with all you folks soon-ish!

Any Tele Skiers out there?

To quote Eric:
"Please repond to this post, it's designed for you to tell us who you are.... Are you a Skier? Rider? Like to hit bumps? What's your level ? (Beginner-Expert?) Favorite Mtn? etc.."

1) HOW I GET DOWN THE MOUNTAIN: Telemark Skier (want to try snowboarding this year, so I might rent 1 day if any beginners want company).

2) BUMPS: I usually don't like bumps if they are not big and made by other telemark skiers. I am getting better but I am really slow right now. You will most likely be waiting on my to connect a few turns. Always up for them though if you don't mind waiting.

3) ABILITY: Intermediate. I do just fine on all runs on the mountain and can keep the speed up. I prefer "off piste" so back bowls and places like "the meadows" in Copper Mountain (nicely spaced trees and plenty of fluff) are where I like to spend my time. See #2 above in regards to bumps. I have climbing skins so I don't mind back country and traverses.

4) PASS TYPE: I have a Colorado Pass. I have had Copper Mountain/Winter Park the last few years and love to ski Copper (tucker mountain) so if anyone is ever heading there let me know.

5) FAVORITE MOUNTAIN: Copper Mountain, Eldora, Keystone, Vail (when it is not crowded). Never been to A-Basin and want to try this year.

6) TRANSPORTATION: I have an old 98 subaru outback with Thule ski racks (boards and skis work). I share this car with my fiance so most likely I will need to catch a ride with others as she needs the car when I am away.

7) HUCKING CLIFFS: I like to do it but consider myself a novice. Most I have dropped is about 10 ft. but I would like to learn more. Learning to land on the balls of my feet when dropping in tele's.

8) EATING: I know lots of people love to head to the lodge and pay out the ass for a hot dog and a beer. I usually bring my lunch in my back pack and bring my JetBoil and pull off in the trees somewhere and eat. If you like to camp and want to cook up some ramen or soup, it is a nice way to go.

I think that's it. Hopefully we get a lot of dumping in the coming weeks. I will have my family out for Thanksgiving and looking for pass deals for my sister's boyfriend and my dad if anyone has any ideas. We will probably ski at Keystone, Beaver Creek or Breck.

Board'n The Rest of The Year

Holla, I have every Friday off until the end of the year, let me know who wants to hitup Breck, Keystone or Abasin.

I don't know most of you fuckers...but lets ride!

Hey guys!! I'm Andrea G and I'm a snowboarder who lives in downtown. I currently don't have a day job so most of the time I'm available to ride any day! (wooot!) I'm down to meet new people to ride with and I'm decent enough. I do mini-parks (nothing tooo snazzy) and can definitely fly pretty fast but most of all I enjoy riding with a backpack full of delicious brewskys. Email me to ride!

Tell us about you! (all required to post!)

Please repond to this post, it's designed for you to tell us who you are.... Are you a Skier? Rider? Like to hit bumps? What's your level ? (Beginner-Expert?) Favorite Mtn? etc..

Me:
1. Rider- Expert
2. Hate bumps
3. Favorite Mtn- Vail baby!!! If you "really" know how to ride Vail, especially back-bowls from Sundowner to Blue Sky, you'll have one of the best days ever!
4. Love Beaver Creek & Aspen Snowmass too...
I've been riding since 2000, Dave Yen aka "D-Money", my CU roomie taught me how to ride. I would be more than willing to teach any beginners how to ride for FREE, trust me, I'm much better than those instructors you pay for lessons!
I think I've mastered riding, so this year I'm trying to learn how to SKI!!! Let me know if you can give me a lesson!
